About Us:
The GNTBVN is a network of persons infected or affected by TB and wish to share their experience to help other infected people with the hope of battling the negative consequences of TB.

Mission: We promote health and quality of life by supporting the prevention, controlling and elimination of TB & its associated stigma in affected communities through advocacy and policy dialogues, social mobilization, education and partnerships.

Vision: We envision a country where communities are free of TB and its associated stigma.
We are currently implementing under the Global Fund Community System Intervention, where we have TB Champions involved in active TB case finding activities in an effort to end TB in Ghana.

Job summary:
The CRG officer will be responsible for championing ambitious people centred, human rights based, gender transformative national TB responses, advocacy and accountability efforts to end TB by 2030. He/she will do this by ensuring that the organization’s programs are inclusive, equitable, and uphold human rights, gender equality, and ethical standards. The officer will work closely with staff, volunteers, and partners to foster a culture of integrity, safeguard vulnerable populations, and integrate CRG principles into all organizational activities.

Key Responsibilities
•    Advocate for the integration of CRG principles in program design, implementation, and monitoring.
•    Ensure that interventions meet the specific needs of the TB communities and key and vulnerable populations (KVPs) groups.
•    Coordinate with TB Champions and volunteers to embed CRG in community outreach and active case-finding efforts.
•    Facilitate trainings for staff and volunteers on stigma reduction, gender equality, and human rights principles.
•    Develop advocacy materials and policy briefs that reflect community voices, human rights, and gender-based concerns in TB programming.
•    Build partnerships with CSOs, public health institutions and other national and global level stakeholders to enhance CRG initiatives.
•    Collaborate with the M&E team to monitor the impact of CRG-related activities and inform decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
•    At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
•    Strong understanding of community engagement, human rights, gender equality, and social inclusion principles.
•    Knowledge of The Global Fund implementation arrangements, frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
•    Experience working with the TB community, marginalized or vulnerable populations.
•    Strong communication, facilitation, and advocacy skills.
•    Ability to lead investigations and ensure confidential handling of sensitive matters.
•    Familiarity with public health programs, especially TB or HIV, is an advantage.
•    High ethical standards, integrity, and ability to maintain neutrality in investigations
•    Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
•    Strong organizational and time management skills.
